Diversity not just in research areas but also in methodology: research in our dermatology department encompasses clinical diagnostics to morphological analysis, laser technology, measurements of skin function and skin reactions, special lab tests, telehealth and artificial intelligence.

PsoRA was established to document and improve outpatient therapy for patients with psoriasis in Austria. Developed by Med Uni Graz in collaboration with the Austrian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ÖGDV), the web-based database is embedded in Psonet, the European Registry of Psoriasis.
In recent years, great advances have been made in psoriasis therapy, and modern therapeutics can often prevent most symptoms from arising. At Psoriasis Center Graz, patients with psoriasis can receive useful information on different forms of psoriasis, possible triggers and different therapies; lists are available for treating physicians with information on medications, preliminary exams required before therapy is started and recommended checkups. The department's virtual clinic offers patients teledermatology consultations, and physicians have the opportunity to contact psoriasis team specialists quickly and easily.
